Spring water manufacturing factory goes operational in Central Tigray Zone
Axum, February 11, 2008 (Axum) - A private spring water manufacturing factory, established in Central Tigray Zone with an outlay of 6.5 million Birr has gone operational.

Factory manager, Mohammed Ali Abrar told ENA that the factory bottles purified water in two, one and half liters.

The factory has already begun supplying its product to market.

Activities are underway to open branches in regional towns with a view to distributing the product among various states.

He said the factory has a capacity to manufacture and bottle 1,500 liters of purified water per hour.

The factory has already created jobs to 30 people.
