Commission, Society sign MoU
Addis Ababa, April 28, 2008 (Addis Ababa) - The Federal Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission and China Law Society signed here on Monday a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on prevention of corruption.

Commissioner, Ali Suleiman and Executive Vice- President of China Law Society, Liu Yang signed the MoU.

The six-member delegation also held discussion with officials of the commission.

Commissioner Ali said on the occasion the main objective of the discussion was to establish relations between the Ethiopian and Chinese law institutions and share experiences in the area.

Members of the Society are expected to hold talks with justice executives and Ethiopian Lawyers' Association, among others.

Yang on her part lauded the activities carried out by the commission to prevent corruption.

She said the society would create situations enabling the commission work together with the Chinese ethics and anti-corruption bureau.

The Society would head to Egypt, Tanzania and other African countries after conclusion of its a three-day visit here.
