Election coordinator of Fanti Zone in Afar State, Ali Bori told ENA on Monday that the results are announced to the public at 142 polling stations set up in the zone.

Ali said over 90 per cent of the registered 164,000 voters had cast votes in the zone.

Jimma Zone election coordinator in Oromia State, Mulatu Kebede on his part said election results are being made official at 1,510 polling stations in Jimma and Agaro Towns as well as 17 woredas of the zone.

More than 900,000 of the over one million registered voters had cast votes.

According to election coordinators in West Hararge and West Shoa Zones of the region, results were being announced to the public.

Yem special woreda, Gurage Zone of South Ethiopia Peoples' State has also made official the election results, zonal election coordinator, Fekadu Menjeta said.
