Equipping professionals with investigation skill said central to fight corruption
Addis Ababa, April 11, 2008 (Addis Ababa) - Eva Joly, Special Advisor to the Norwegian Minister of International Development, who is on official visit in Ethiopia said capacitating professionals engaged in the fight against corruption with investigative skill is central.

She made the remark on Friday while lecturing on investigating methodology for Federal Ethics and Ant-Corruption Commission (FEACC) and relevant offices representatives.

Capacitating professionals with skills and methods of investigating corruption cases should be given prime attention, she noted.

The Special Advisor said she met and held constructive discussion with Ali Suleiman, Commissionaire of the FEACC.

Eva Joly, who is an internationally known former prosecutor of corruption in France will go to Mekelle and discuss with officials of the state’s Ethics and Ant-Corruption Commission.
