Addis Ababa, April 9, 2008 (Addis Ababa) - The National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) announced that contesting individual candidates and political parties of the upcoming local and by elections will conclude their election campaign on Thursday.NEBE Office Head, Tesfaye Mengesha told ENA on Wednesday that the election campaign being conducted by contestant political parties and individual candidates on various media outlets and forums would be concluded before Thursday mid night.
Election materials have been dispatched to each polling station across the country, Tesfaye said.
Polling station in all parts of the country have also finalized preparation for the smooth conduct of the election, he added.
