Flexi Cadastre selected for World Bank project in Ethiopia
Addis Ababa, April 8, 2008 (Addis Ababa) - A company called Spatial Dimension with partners Swedish Geological and Tadaka announced that they have been awarded a World Bank financed project to implement a new Cadastre Data Management System within the Ethiopian Ministry of Mines and Energy.

Spatial Dimension’s Flexi Cadastre integrated mineral rights management solution will be implemented centrally in the Ministry’s Mineral Operations Department in Addis Ababa with real-time connections to 11 Regional States Mine Bureaus.

The initial project duration is nine months followed by a 12 month maintenance period. Some 33 consultant months have been allocated to the project.

Managing Director of Spatial Dimension Bill Feast said it is a pleasure to welcome the Ethiopian Ministry of Mines and Energy as the latest government client to select the Flexi Cadastre platform for the basis of their new computerized Mining Cadastre System.

Since Flexi Cadastre is rules based, has a complex security framework and is completely web enabled it provides the ideal system to enable the Ministry at both Federal and Regional levels.
