Speaking at a relevant meeting held in Adolla Town, office head, Bekona Hawas said the projects are being executed in eight towns and over 300 rural localities of the zone.

The projects mainly focus, among others, on health, education, potable water provision and road construction sectors.

Some 20 million birr of the budget is allotted by the regional government while the remaining is expected to be secured from various sources.

Over 300,000 people are expected to become beneficiaries upon completion of the projects.

The projects have so far created jobs to over 5,000 people.
