Swiss artist-organized art works exhibition under display
Addis Ababa, October 26, 2007 (Addis Ababa) - A Swiss artist-organized art works exhibition under a title "Queen Sheba in the Shadow of Yesterday" is being displayed at the National Museum as of October 20, 2007.

The artist, AL-Sabah Jamila, told journalists on Friday that she had no idea about the Ethiopian Millennium celebration when she came here to display her works.

After observing the African spirit of the celebration, she said she understood the great role Ethiopia is playing in the continent.

She also expressed her happiness to come here during the millennium celebration.

The artist said she is proud to visit Ethiopia, which she said, was used to hear only through Media.

She said she has tried to promote the previous Abyssinia, the present Ethiopia through more than 130 exhibitions prepared in 30 various countries.

She said she would display her works in various countries including her birthplace Geneva.

The exhibition would stay open until November 9, 2007.
