Kufor transplants tree seedlings
Addis Ababa, October 5, 2007 (Addis Ababa) - The Ghanaian President, John A. Kufor transplanted two tree seedlings on Friday on the premise of the National Palace in connection with the new Ethiopian Millennium celebrations.

President Kufor on the occasion said the celebration of the Ethiopian millennium, which is adopted as African Millennium, shows that Africa has a rich history.

The president said the Millennium is a source of pride for both Ethiopians and Africans.

Director-General of the Ethiopian Millennium National Council Secretariat, Seyoum Bereded on his part briefed President Kufor on the on-going activities of the council in connection with the Millennium celebrations.

Meanwhile, President Girma Woldegiorgis and President Kufor held discussions on bilateral issues.
