Inter-agency Network for Education in Emergencies (INEE) Conference to be held here
Addis Ababa, November 10, 2007 (Addis Ababa) - UNICEF and partner organizations UNESCO, WFP, Save the Children and World Vision will organize a conference on the Inter-agency Network for Education in Emergencies from November 12 to 14, 2007, at the Millennium Hotel in Addis Ababa.

Ethiopian State Minister of Education, Fuad Ibrahim, will make an opening address to those in attendance on Monday, Nov. 12.

The three-day event will feature experienced trainers and users of the INEE Minimum Standards who represent an organizations and institutions working in the field of education, protection or emergency humanitarian work in Anglophone Africa, UNICEF says in a statement.

INEE trainers will share challenges, good practices and lessons learned in the training and implementation process, as well as receive an introduction to a toolkit and other new materials developed to aid in implementation of the INEE Minimum Standards.
