Center, College graduate students
Addis Ababa, July 29, 2007 (Addis Ababa) - The Agarfa Technical and Vocation Training Center, the largest farmers training institution in the country, has graduated Saturday 598 students in various fields.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Agriculture and Rural Development State Minster, Mohammed Nasir urged the graduates to actively engage in knowledge-based agricultural development programs.

The state minister said the country must produce skillful professionals in large amount to mobilize frames and ensure knowledge and resource based agricultural programs.

In a related development, Lifeline College in the capital has graduated 144 students in information technology, office management and law, among others.

Associate professor at the Addis Ababa University, Yismaw Alemu said on the occasion the students are expected to serve their country and the public diligently.

Similarly, 125 nurses have been graduated from the Debre Tabor Medical College, South Gondar zone of Amhara State.

The nurses, of whom 69 are females, attended their training for the past three years.
