Speaking at the inaugural ceremony CBE’s President Esayas Amare the newly opened branch would contribute to the development and trade activities of the town and the surrounding.

He called upon the residents and investors of the town to use the bank service.

The president said the bank is exerting utmost effort to expand its service, and recalled that CBE has opened 15 branches during the past budget year.

Chief administrator of Kemissie zone, Seud Yusuf on the occasion said the CBE has considered the public demand and the bank would remarkably contribute to the development of the zone.

Deputy Mayor of Kemissie town Ebissa Taddesse on his part said investors with an aggregated capital of over 7.6 million birr are operating in the town.

Kemissie town is located 325 Kms north east of Addis Ababa.
