FEGA provides RH service to over half million people
Dessie, December 26, 2007 (Dessie) - The North East branch of the Family Guidance Association of Ethiopia said it has provided reproductive health service to more than half a million people in the last nine months.

Speaking at a relevant meeting organized for volunteers held in Dessie town on Monday Association Board Chairman Amare Kentiba said the service has been provided to 175 kebeles of Eastern Amhara zones through permanent and mobile stations and clinics.

He said 20,000 new beneficiaries got family planning service through clinics in the reported period while 7,000 people received Volunteer blood testing and Counseling services.

He said home care service has also been provided to more than 300 People living with HIV /AIDS.
