Ethiopian Millennium promoting program held in Helsinki
Addis Ababa, August 31, 2007 (Addis Ababa) - A program aimed at promoting the Ethiopian Millennium and its preparations was held in Helsinki, Finland as part of a program called "Artists Night", the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

In a statement it sent to Ethiopian News Agency on Friday, the ministry said that Ethiopian Consulate in Finland has promoted the country's tourist attraction sites and the Ethiopian Airlines (EAL) in the course of the program.

Ethiopian traditional foods were tabled in the course of the program.

Ethio-band also staged a cultural performance.

EAL has provided a free air ticket from Stockholm to Addis Ababa through its office in Scandinavian countries, it said.

A Finnish man, who won the free ticket, said he intends to come here with a group of tourists.
