The Ministry of Foreign Affairs told Ethiopian News Agency on Friday that the news paper reported that the Ethiopian millennium is an African festival.

The news paper published by the Senegalese government that invited Ethiopian Ambassador to Senegal, Ambassador Hassan Abdulkarin, as its international guest, presented reports on the activities of the Mission in promoting the successive economic growth and conducive investment opportunities in Ethiopia as well as the upcoming new Millennium.

Meanwhile, Ambassador Hassan, in an interview he gave to RFM Radio, said that the Ethiopian cultural evening, organized jointly by the Ethiopian embassy, association of Ethio-Senegal friendship and the Ethiopian Airlines promoted images of Ethiopia.
