EOC to construct 70 million Birr worth museum
Addis Ababa, August 31, 2007 (Addis Ababa) - The Ethiopian Orthodox Church would construct a museum in Axum town, Tigray State at a cost of 70 million Birr next year, Central Tigray State diocese office said.

Office General Manager, Abebe Wolde-kiros told ENA on Friday that the construction of the museum would contribute a lot to reserve historical heritages properly.

Furthermore, it would help tourists to find out the historical heritages at one place in an organized manner.

The site for the construction of the museum has already been selected and Italian and Greece architects have set plan for the construction of the museum.
