TDA plans to execute 50 million birr dev’t projects
Mekele, August 14, 2007 (Mekele) - The Tigray Development Association (TDA) said it has set plans to execute various development works worth 50 million birr in this budget year.

At a discussion on the association’s plans for 2000 E.C held in Axum town recently, public relation head with the association, Teshale Fisseha said the development works focus on education, health, and on other social services.

He said the association would construct high schools in the region where there is no access to secondary level education.

The association has secured money from sales of lottery, he said.

Teshale called up on the public to actively participate in the execution of the development projects.

Woreda administrators, information office heads and woreda representatives of the association took part in the discussion.

Participants of the discussion on their part expressed commitment to mobilize the public.
