Youth Urged To Make Forthcoming National Elections Fair and De,ocratic
Addis Ababa, January 16, 2010 (Addis Ababa) -

The Chief Executive of the Gulele Sub-city Administration, Hailu Ketema said the youth play az leading role to make the forthcoming national election fair and democratic.

Hailu said much is expected from the youth in bringing about sustainable development and ensuring good governance in the country.

He made the remark while delivering a speech at the Kebele 09/15 Second Round Youth Conference held here on Saturday.

Hailu said the youth should strive to make the upcoming national election participatory.

He stressed the need that the youth have the responsibility to help get continue the sustainable development, peace and democracy in which the country has embarked up on.

Hailu mentioned that the government has given due attention to the youth by establishing a ministry in charge of the youth affairs.
